After recently moving back to the north west I have found full time work with VisionEvents Manchester, a full live events production company. It’s been great fun so far and I’m looking forward to the events lined up ahead!
Over the past couple of months I’ve been working with Clear & Loud PA Hire to bring live music to the terrace of The Cumberland Arms. Great afternoons and plenty of amazing bands!

This week I’ve had an amazing time running front of house and monitors for one of the stages at the Living North Awards event in St Nicholas Cathedral. Great music in an amazing venue!
This year I was fortunate enough to get intimately involved with Electric Spring 2016 and given the opportunity to run tech for the festival’s final night.
A number brilliant artists presented their work over the week, with projects ranging from audio/visual experiences to surround sound immersion and interactive installations; all of which was enabled by the University’s HISS equipment.
This week I took the opportunity to mix the amazing Jah Wobble, and got to play with the university’s new DiGiCo SD8 digital desk.

Tonight I have been involved with the setup of an 8 channel surround sound system for experimental violinist Mieko Kanno and a number of the university’s postgraduate students. An exciting display of live sounds mixed with digital audio processing, all running through the analogue Soundcraft Ghost.
